Hey Hawks! I’m the designer behind the website you’re looking at right now during the '25-'26 school year. I’ve spent my time completely reworking the site to move past the old, clunky layout and create something truly modern and fresh. I hope you enjoy the new digital experience I’ve built for you!

My name is Ellen Ryoo, and I’m the Hawk Editorial’s editor-in-chief for the 2026-27 school year. My job is to schedule meetings, look over editing and layout, and manage the editorial overall. This is my third year in the Hawk Editorial, and my second year on the leadership team.

Hi! I am James Guo, and I'm the Layout Team Coordinator here at the Hawk Editorial. The Layout Team formats our articles nicely so that they are ready for printing. My job as the coordinator is to help the Layout Team. Apart from writing, I also enjoy reading, pointless doodling, and playing the viola.

Hi! I am Olivia Yin, and I’ll be the Writing and Editing Team Coordinator here at the Hawk Editorial. The Editing Team is here for giving the writers feedback and reviews on each of their articles. They make sure that all the articles are polished and perfected for the Layout Team to format. As the Editing Team Coordinator I’ll make sure everyone does their part. Apart from the Hawk Editorial, I enjoy endless hours of gaming, binge reading, playing the cello, drawing commissions, and playing volleyball.

Hi, my name is Elsa Deng, and I'm the Liaison for the Hawk Editorial. As liaison, I am in charge of the Hawk Editorial’s social media accounts and ensure that we make consistent and engaging posts. Apart from the Hawk Editorial, I enjoy playing volleyball, softball, listening to music, procrastinating, and starting crafts but never finishing them.

I am Ethan Zhu, the Website and Ads Coordinator for the Hawk Editorial. I handle the website and make the ads for the Editorial that you see on the Hawk Bulletin. Besides my Editorial work, I compete in academic competitions and play Tetris and Pokemon.

Mr. Parekh is a 7th grade English teacher, as well as the Film Production elective teacher. He is the Hawk Editorial's faculty advisor since 2017. Mr. Parekh believes in proofreading, and the power of reading challenging texts to improve your writing.
